Unlike mulch made from trees decorative gravels don’t breakdown and decompose. They come in a wide range of colors, shapes and sizes. Decorative gravels offer a exceptional permanent finished look to your landscape. One bag of gravel is ½ Cu. Ft. and will cover approximately 6-8 square feet. Over time, if you do not put down fabric, it will work its way into the soil beneath causing you to have to replace some year after year. This is why we recommend putting down landscape fabric before you put down your gravel to keep it from washing into the dirt. It will also help to keep weeds from popping up in your landscape.
